Hi, I’m Jessica, the heart behind Rockin M Kennels! Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and they’ve always held a special place in my heart. I’ve usually had more dogs than the average person—our current count is five! 😆
I’ve always been eager to learn about canine behavior and understand what makes each dog feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I also spent a couple of years working in the small animal department of a veterinary clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs with a variety of needs.
We’re very comfortable with high-drive breeds! Our own crew includes Australian Shepherds, a German Shepherd, and a Corgi, so we’re familiar with the energy, intelligence, and big personalities these dogs bring. We understand how much they benefit from mental stimulation, exercise, and clear, consistent guidance.
I have a soft spot for dogs who need a little extra care, and I’m comfortable caring for seniors, administering medications, and accommodating special needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and my goal is to get to know each dog as an individual and give them the patience, attention, and kindness I would want for my own.
